What do we do for sport?

Sport at St Saviour’s

Something that makes our school very special is our participation in sport competitions. Last year (2015) over 60% of the Junior pupils represented the school in Tower Hamlets and London wide events. All the pupils that took part form the girls’ hockey to boys’ football to swimming and cross country received a medal. There were as always top sports people who represented the school with great sportsmanship, courage, perseverance and humility, always trying that little bit extra to achieve their very best. These pupils chosen annually from year 6 in conjunction with Tower Hamlets sports were Macie, Jake and Joshua. Their names are engraved in a special trophy they keep till next summer. This year we have already had a huge number take part in the cross country, coming overall 3rd out of Tower Hamlets in running with girls bringing back numerous medals (and boys too).

We have also taken part in Paralympic Value Games where all our pupils received a medal be it for archery, running or other events and sheer brilliant participation.
